The clear I used flashed by the time it got to the fence. I used epoxy on the nose because I sanded down to the urethane which would normally require a special adhesion promoter prior to painting. I've found the epoxy to be very durable and easy to work with. It sticks to everything and everything sticks to it. The gray primer is a 2k primer. Mixed per the label gets you a fill grade sanding primer that has it's own hardner. I use it in a reduced state with a urethane reducer. It makes a good sealer prior to painting that can be scuffed down easily with 320 or 400 dry.
